Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 7 to 15 years of professional accounting experience
- Educational background: B.Com with MBA, CMA, CMA-Inter, or CA-Inter
- Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and submission procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Core Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant at Luxridge, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Invoice Management: Posting and approving supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Payment Processing: Preparing payment requests and issuing payment vouchers
- Account Reconciliation: Handling supplier accounts and general ledger reconciliations
- Audit Support: Preparing audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
- Petty Cash Oversight: Managing petty cash transactions and performing regular reconciliations
- VAT Compliance: Preparing VAT reports and ensuring timely submissions to authorities
