Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with accuracy and timeliness.
Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring ledger balances are correct.
Handling month-end and year-end closing procedures to maintain financial integrity.
Preparing financial reports, statements, and management summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
Filing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Supporting audits and assisting in internal financial reviews.
Using accounting software (Tally, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) to record and track transactions.
Coordinating with logistics and shipping teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Maintaining proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.
Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and daily operations.
Prior experience in logistics or shipping accounts is highly preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of VAT filing and compliance in the UAE.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and time-management abilities.
