Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Agent, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reconciliation processes. Your daily tasks will include:
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of accounts across insurance companies, clients, and internal ledgers.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial records and transaction logs.
- Ensuring all financial entries are properly documented and supported with relevant paperwork.
- Maintaining organized reconciliation files in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with internal departments such as Operations, Treasury, and Audit to resolve mismatches.
- Preparing detailed reconciliation reports and summaries for management review.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Supporting both internal and external audits with accurate reconciliation data.
Qualifications & Skills Required
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in reconciliation, accounting, or auditing.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
VLOOKUP
Pivot Tables
Conditional Formatting
Reconciliation formulas
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
