Job Overview
As CFO, you will be responsible for steering the financial direction of the company, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and supporting long-term growth strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical excellence, regional experience, and visionary leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee cash flow, treasury, and capital management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards
- Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives
- Manage ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams for financial efficiency
- Present financial insights to stakeholders and board members
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
- MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA are highly desirable
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years in a CFO or equivalent senior finance role
- Proven track record in pharma, FMCG, retail, or distribution
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial modeling, and M&A
- Regional experience in Qatar or GCC countries is a strong advantage
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of IFRS reporting and compliance
- Strong command of treasury and cash flow management
- Expertise in cost control, margin analysis, and financial KPIs
- Familiarity with pharma regulations and supply chain finance
- Advanced skills in data analytics and financial dashboards
