Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee our finance operations in Hungary. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to lead financial processes in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily finance operations in Hungary
- Ensure smooth workflow and compliance with internal policies
- Oversee revenue reporting, ledger control, and financial documentation
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial models
- Support internal audits and external reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights
- Handle tax-related matters and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in financial planning and risk management
- Support business decisions with accurate financial data
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven success in financial planning and analysis
- Experience in international or multicultural environments
- Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards
Skills & Tools:
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
