Key Responsibilities
As a senior cost analyst, your daily tasks will include:

Managing cost control operations for Ashghal projects

Monitoring payment cycles, cost allocations, and financial commitments

Overseeing fixed asset costing and financial reporting

Coordinating with cross-functional departments for financial data collection

Ensuring expenses are recorded in compliance with internal policies

Supporting utilities sector-related costing requirements

Preparing financial reports, cost summaries, and budget accuracy checks

Managing documentation for audits and compliance

Reviewing expenditure trends and forecasting financial requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or any related field

Professional certification obtained from North America, Western Europe, or Australia is highly preferred

Accounting certifications such as CIMA, CMA, CPA, or CA will be an added advantage

Minimum 12 years of cumulative experience in accounting or cost analysis

Experience working in the Utilities Sector is highly preferred

Background in payments processing, costing, and fixed assets

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

A valid and current Qatar Driving License is an advantage

Accreditation from relevant professional bodies will be considered a plus
