Role Overview
The HR Admin Assistant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR functions, maintaining employee records, coordinating HR activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes. The ideal candidate must already be residing in Qatar with previous HR work experience in the country.
This position requires strong knowledge of Qatar labor law, excellent documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a wide range of HR and administrative tasks, including:
1. HR Support & Operations
- Managing and updating employee files and HR databases
- Assisting in HR policy implementation
- Coordinating with departments to ensure smooth HR processes
2. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitoring daily attendance records
- Managing employee leave requests and updating the system
- Ensuring accurate monthly attendance reports
3. Visa, RP & Legal Documentation
- Supporting visa application processes
- Coordinating Residence Permit (RP) renewals
- Handling legal documents related to employees
- Coordinating with PROs and government portals when required
4. ERP & Software Usage
- Working with ERP systems (Adler ERP is preferred)
- Updating employee information accurately
- Generating HR-related reports from the system
5. Administrative & Office Support
- Drafting official letters and internal documents
- Preparing reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintaining confidential records
- Providing support in HR events, meetings, and recruitment processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Requirements
- Must currently be based in Qatar
- Must have HR experience within Qatar
- Immediate availability is an advantage
Technical & Professional Skills
- Good hands-on HR and administration experience
- Knowledge of Qatar Labor Law
- Experience with ERP systems (Adler preferred)
- Strong background in attendance and leave management
- Experience in RP & Visa processing
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and letter drafting
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Basic IT knowledge is an added advantage
