About the Role – Sr. Payroll Analyst
Medtronic is currently hiring a senior payroll analyst to support its diabetes business. This role is ideal for payroll professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing complex payroll operations within a large organization.
As a Sr. Payroll Analyst, you will oversee payroll consolidation, ensure compliance with payroll laws, and support payroll processing for employees in the United States and Puerto Rico. You will also play a key role in audits, system improvements, and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
This is a remote position, offering flexibility while working with a globally respected healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations & Compliance
Review, validate, and interpret payroll and timekeeping data to ensure accurate employee compensation
Monitor overtime, additional payments, adjustments, deductions, and tax withholdings
Ensure payroll processing follows company policies and all statutory payroll and tax regulations
Analysis & Issue Resolution
Analyze, audit, reconcile, and resolve payroll discrepancies
Handle complex employee payroll inquiries related to pay, deductions, and benefits
Support internal and external payroll audits with accurate documentation
Systems & Process Improvement
Assist with payroll system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Follow standard operating procedures including timecard reviews and salary adjustments
Identify opportunities to improve payroll efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Required Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of payroll-related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
ORAn advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience using ADP Global View
Strong data validation and reconciliation skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

Regular interaction with computers and digital systems
Communication with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams

Salary Range (U.S.—excluding PR):
$75,200–$112,800 USD annually
