Position Overview
Splunk (Cisco) is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst to support its Specialist & Technical Sales teams. This role is fully remote and can be performed from any location within the United States.
You’ll play a critical role in reporting, forecasting, planning, and enabling the sales organization to achieve peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis: Build and maintain dashboards in Salesforce and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Deliver insights on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and sales performance.
Sales Forecasting & Planning: Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning. Provide data-driven recommendations for quota setting and capacity planning.
Sales Technology Support: Ensure adoption and integrity of CRM, sales enablement, and automation tools.
Training & Enablement: Develop onboarding materials, train new hires, and support ongoing sales training initiatives.
Planning & Readiness: Assist with annual product area planning, territory alignment, compensation design, and goal cascade.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or analytical roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce, advanced Excel, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for presenting findings to diverse audiences.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
Base salary: $135,000–$170,200 (U.S. & Canada)
New York City Metro: $143,000 – $207,200
Non-Metro NY & Washington State: $135,000–$195,700

Cisco offers performance-based incentive pay with no cap:
0.75% of target for each 1% attainment up to 50% quota
1.5% of target for 50–75% attainment
1% of target for 75–100% attainment
Above 100% attainment: 1%+ per 1% revenue achieved
