Job Summary
This is a full-time opportunity for candidates who are already based in Qatar and hold a valid QID. Rafeeq is seeking someone with hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliation tasks. Prior exposure to e-commerce accounting will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
As an accountant at Rafeeq, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Managing daily accounting operations with accuracy and timeliness
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handling accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assisting internal and external audits with required documentation
- Conducting financial analysis to support business decisions
- Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and company policies
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Qatar
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Familiarity with e-commerce accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID
