Key Responsibilities
As a General Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the hotel. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries with accuracy and timeliness
Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports in compliance with hotel policies
Preparing and posting month-end journal vouchers (JVs) including accruals, pre-paid expenses, and cost allocations
Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports and handling the payroll process
Coordinating with vendors and suppliers regarding invoice and payment queries
Utilizing hotel accounting systems, especially SUN System (mandatory) and Property Management Systems (PMS)
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry
✅ Strong understanding of hotel finance operations and accounting principles
✅ Proficiency in SUN System and hotel PMS software
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
