Accountant – Accounts Receivable (AR) | Qatar
Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional looking for your next opportunity in Qatar? We’re hiring a detail-oriented and bilingual Accountant – AR to join a dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities
As an AR Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the accounts receivable process. Your duties will include:
Monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
Preparing and sending invoices, statements, and reminders.
Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Recording and tracking incoming payments in accounting software.
Generating AR reports and presenting financial data to management.
Coordinating with internal departments and external clients regarding billing issues.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable.
Software Knowledge:
Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Location: Must be currently based in Qatar.
Availability: Ready to join immediately or within a short notice period.
