Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Reporting
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries
Prepare journal entries with complete supporting documentation
Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet items, and intercompany balances
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Financial Analysis & Controls
Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports
Analyze financial variances, trends, and performance indicators
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring activities
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work closely with portfolio finance teams and local management
Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews
Contribute to finance process standardization and automation initiatives

Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–4 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
Strong knowledge of German GAAP and/or IFRS
Proficiency with ERP or accounting software
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
