II. The Role: Inventory Management Officer
This is a central and highly responsible position within our operational structure. The Inventory Management Officer will ensure the integrity and optimization of our material supply chain, which is critical for minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our maintenance operations.
III. Key Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a proven track record, especially within the specialized sector of railway/metro facility management:

| System Skills | Proven expertise in IBM Maximo (Enterprise Asset Management) and familiarity with SAP (ERP) for reconciliation and planning. |

IV. Core Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following high-impact activities:
A. Data and System Integrity
Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all inventory data is current and accurate within the IBM Maximo system.
System Reconciliation: Perform regular audits and reconciliation between Maximo and SAP to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.
Documentation: Ensure all material issues are fully documented against approved work orders, maintaining a clear audit trail.
B. Supply Chain Operations
Receipt Control: Record material receipts against purchase orders, strictly verifying quantity and quality to specification.
Material Issuance: Issue materials strictly through approved work orders only, linking usage to specific assets and their maintenance history.
Stock Optimization: Review and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory to optimize stock levels and assist the procurement team with efficient reorder planning.
C. Compliance & Coordination
Standards Adherence: Ensure all inventory practices comply rigorously with Qatar Rail standards, company policies, and external audit requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key liaison, coordinating material flows between the Procurement, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams for seamless operations.
