Role Summary
The structural engineer will play a key role in ensuring engineering accuracy, safety compliance, and structural integrity across assigned oil & gas projects. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing technical documentation, supporting field operations, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical knowledge, project experience, and a deep understanding of oil & gas safety practices.
Key Responsibilities

Provide structural engineering expertise for onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.

Review and verify engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documents.

Support site teams in construction, installation, and structural modifications.

Ensure compliance with international engineering standards and project specifications.

Coordinate with project managers, safety teams, and engineering consultants.

Prepare reports, technical evaluations, and design recommendations.

Assist in troubleshooting structural issues during project execution.

Follow all safety regulations and maintain strict adherence to oil & gas HSE guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Degree in structural or civil engineering (or equivalent qualification).

6–8 years of total experience in engineering, preferably within:

Oil & Gas

Petrochemical Plants
-
Refinery Projects
-
Onshore and Offshore Operations

Strong understanding of safety standards, HSE guidelines, and engineering codes.

Minimum 2 years of Middle East experience, preferably in Qatar or GCC projects.

Ability to handle multidisciplinary coordination, field support, and technical reviews.

Good communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced project environments.
