Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Officer
As the financial guardian of the hotel, your key responsibilities include:
Daily Financial Oversight

Monitor daily hotel revenue, expenses, and cash flow.

Supervise payroll, inventory management, and financial accuracy.
Reporting & Review
-
Review financial statements, reconciliations, and MIS reports before they are submitted to Group Finance.

Prepare weekly and monthly performance updates for the Group CFO.
Financial Governance & Controls
-
Identify operational risks, revenue leakages, and financial discrepancies.

Strengthen internal controls across Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and other revenue-generating areas.

Support internal and external audits.
Procurement & Cost Management
-
Oversee LPO cycles, supplier coordination, and vendor payments.

Monitor food, beverage, payroll, and overhead costs with strong cost-control discipline.

Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage.
Strategic Support

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Work closely with hotel finance teams and operational managers while maintaining an independent reporting line to the Group CFO.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CA, ACCA, or CPA preferred).

5–7 years of finance experience within the hotel/hospitality industry.

Strong understanding of financial controls, audits, and analytical reporting.

High integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Excellent command over hotel systems, revenue centers, and operational finance processes.
