💼 Comprehensive Responsibilities (Key Functions)
In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health of our operations by executing the following core functions:
Cost Analysis and Reporting: Conduct deep-dive analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly food and beverage costs. Identify variances between sales and raw material consumption and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management detailing root causes and actionable insights.
Recipe and Usage Monitoring: Ensure strict adherence to approved recipes and standards regarding raw material usage. Develop strategies to achieve targeted Food Cost Percentages and minimize product misuse.
Waste and Loss Control: Monitor and track waste and loss ratios accurately, implementing effective procedures to reduce product spoilage and shrinkage. Investigate discrepancies between theoretical inventory and actual consumption.
Purchasing and Financial Reconciliation: Review supplier invoices diligently, matching them against purchase orders and receiving receipts. Ensure all procurement activities comply with the company's financial protocols and budget constraints.
Inventory Management: Oversee and monitor stock levels across all kitchens, stores, and storage areas. Lead and supervise monthly physical inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation to support financial reporting.
What We Are Looking For (Key Requirements & Skills)
To be the ideal candidate for this challenging position, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven work experience in Cost Control, preferably within the F&B sector.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and Advanced Formulas) is essential.
Experience working with F&B specific ERP/POS (Point of Sale) software is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and time management abilities.
