This role is designed for senior facility management professionals who can oversee end-to-end facility operations, manage multidisciplinary teams, control budgets, and ensure compliance with Qatar’s local regulations.
Key Responsibilities of the Facility Manager
As a facility manager in Qatar, you will be responsible for managing both strategic and operational aspects of facility management. Your core responsibilities include:
Developing and executing comprehensive facility management strategies aligned with client and business objectives
Overseeing daily operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, landscaping, and building systems
Managing operational and capital budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities
Coordinating with third-party vendors, service providers, and AMC contractors
Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Qatar regulatory standards
Preparing and implementing emergency response and business continuity plans
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders through regular performance updates
Managing preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and inspections

Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
To qualify for this facility manager job in Doha, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in facilities management
At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within the GCC
Strong experience in Qatar facility management projects (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, Fire & Life Safety, and building operations
Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
Valid Qatar Driving License
In-depth understanding of Qatar laws and local authority regulations
Preferred Certifications & Skills
Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
Experience with ISO 14001 and quality management systems
Exposure to large-scale and integrated facility management (IFM) projects
Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
