Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing and streamlining financial operations across our retail business. Your role will include:
Handling full-cycle accounting: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Managing retail inventory accounting, costing, and stock control.
Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
Ensuring compliance with taxation laws and internal financial controls.
Leading junior accountants and improving process accuracy.
Supporting audits and financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
We’re looking for candidates who bring both experience and expertise to the table:
5–7 years of professional accounting experience.
Minimum 4–5 years in the retail industry (mandatory).
Strong command of ERP systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Modeling).
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
CMA or CA Inter qualification is a strong advantage.
