Role Summary
As a UK Bookkeeper Executive, you’ll be responsible for managing financial records for UK clients. Your tasks will include posting transactions, reconciling bank statements, preparing VAT returns, and assisting with year-end accounts. You’ll also communicate directly with clients to resolve queries and ensure documentation is complete.
This role requires a strong understanding of UK accounting standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You’ll be using popular accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, so familiarity with these platforms is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks for UK-based clients
- Post sales, purchases, bank transactions, and journal entries
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations
- Assist in preparing year-end accounts and financial reports
- Coordinate with clients to resolve queries and collect documentation
