About the Role
As a storekeeper in a 3PL environment, you will be responsible for handling inbound items, coordinating GRN processing, managing SKU creation, and maintaining warehouse documentation. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills because it involves daily coordination with clients, suppliers, internal departments, and the warehouse operations team.
The storekeeper will also ensure that all materials are stored properly according to best practices, such as FIFO/FEFO, and that all documentation is complete, correct, and updated in the warehouse management system.
Key Responsibilities
1. SKU Verification & Client Coordination

Communicate with clients before creating new SKUs in the WMS system.

Verify whether the SKU code should be generated by Nbox or provided by the client.

Record all SKU details, including item description, dimensions, weight, and CBM.

Update or create SKU master files only after receiving official client approval.
2. GRN Preparation and Processing

Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in the WMS after quality checks are completed.

Record essential information such as item codes, batch/lot details, expiry dates, and final received quantities.

Ensure GRNs are linked to gate entry references, PO numbers, and ASN details.

Upload supporting documents and inbound photos for accurate record-keeping.
3. Post-GRN Coordination

Assign the received items to the putaway team for storage placement.

Immediately share GRN details and attachments with clients.

Confirm client acknowledgment and resolve any GRN-related issues.
4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain organized digital and physical files, including gate entries, delivery challans, invoices, QC reports, SKU masters, and GRNs.

Prepare daily inbound reports and GRN summaries for management.

Assist during internal and external audits by providing complete inbound documentation.
5. Cross-Department Coordination

Work closely with quality control, inventory, putaway, transport, and client service teams.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and transporters for smooth operations.

Support IT/WMS teams whenever there are system updates or technical issues.
6. Storage, Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure materials are stored correctly following FEFO and FIFO processes.

Verify that all goods are properly labeled with SKU numbers and barcodes.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse inbound area.
Qualifications & Skills Required

Education: Minimum 10+2; diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management preferred.

Experience: 5+ years in GCC 3PL warehousing or inbound logistics operations.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in WMS/ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Infor.

Strong knowledge of SKU setup, GRN processes, and inbound documentation.

Ability to upload photos/documents and maintain clean digital records.

Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
