Role Summary
As an Engineering Technical Lead at Deel, you’ll be the driving force behind technical decisions that shape the future of global HR software. You’ll guide your team, ensure efficiency, and align strategies with Deel’s ambitious product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Lead all technical projects, define requirements, and communicate effectively with your team.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and create contingency plans.
Collaboration: Partner with design and product teams to deliver world-class user experiences.
Alignment: Work closely with Team Leads and Product Managers to meet product goals and timelines.
Software Architecture: Design scalable architecture to support features and achieve OKRs.
Mentorship: Provide expertise through pair programming and code reviews.

Qualifications
10+ years of software development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and database fundamentals.
2+ years as a tech lead or systems architect.
Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Highly accountable with a track record of building strong relationships.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Bonus Skills:
Deep knowledge of architectural design patterns.
Familiarity with test-driven development.
