Job Summary
As a CPA / Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and supporting management with reliable financial insights. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, audit processes, and internal controls. You will manage end-to-end accounting activities while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
Preparing, reviewing, and finalizing financial statements in line with IFRS and applicable local regulations
Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
Handling corporate taxation matters, including VAT filings, tax returns, and statutory compliance
Coordinating with internal and external auditors and addressing audit queries and observations
Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance against targets
Ensuring full compliance with local authorities, regulators, and statutory requirements
Overseeing general ledger activities, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing financial analysis, management reports, and variance analysis for decision-making
Designing, implementing, and maintaining strong internal controls and accounting policies
Supporting cash flow planning, working capital management, and cost control initiatives
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) professional certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management
Strong practical knowledge of IFRS, taxation laws, and audit procedures
Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and accounting software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Prior work experience in the Gulf region is required
