Job Description – Accountant (Accounts Receivable)
As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a key role in managing incoming payments, customer accounts, and financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with sales and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor all accounts receivable transactions

Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time

Track customer payments and ensure timely collections

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies

Maintain up-to-date AR ledgers and financial records

Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing issues

Prepare regular AR reports for management review

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Assist in audit processes and documentation when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a solid accounting background and practical experience in accounts receivable functions.
Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems

High level of accuracy and attention to detail
