The Role
Carrot is hiring a Global Payment Operations Specialist to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about improving financial operations.
You will:
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in global payment processing
- Partner with Customer Success and Member Success teams
- Improve workflows and document processes for scalability
- Contribute to automation and product enhancements that elevate Carrot’s payment systems

The Team
You’ll be part of Carrot’s Global Payment Operations Team, which focuses on:
- Money movement and reconciliation
- Financial operations excellence
- Delivering exceptional member experiences
- Supporting Carrot’s rapidly growing international business
This team collaborates cross-functionally, meaning you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in payment operations (fintech, payments, or banking)
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, currency conversions, and reconciliation
- Experience with platforms such as Stripe, Modern Treasury, Airwallex, Corpay
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in workflow optimization and automation
- Knowledge of payment compliance standards (Nacha, IAT, PPD, CCD, OFAC)
- Handling high-volume transactions under tight deadlines
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERPs
- Strong SQL and analytical skills
- Process-oriented mindset with focus on scalability
