That’s where our next team member comes in. We are currently seeking a dedicated accountant to join our growing company and play a vital role in managing our financial operations.
Job Purpose
The accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports that support management in making informed decisions. This role requires someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As an accountant at Futad Advertising, you will:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and company accounts with accuracy.
- Handle invoices, billing, receipts, and payment follow‑ups to ensure smooth cash flow.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and internal records regularly.
- Process payroll, staff reimbursements, and petty cash management.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure proper entry into accounting systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding payments and documentation.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare VAT reports, audit support documents, and compliance files.
- Maintain organized and accessible financial records for easy reference.
- Support management with financial analysis and budget tracking when required.
Required Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
- Excellent MS Office skills for documentation and reporting.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in advertising, media, events, or production companies.
- Knowledge of Qatar VAT, audit procedures, and local compliance requirements.
- Experience with vendor management and project‑based accounting.
Language Requirement
- English – Required
- Arabic – Advantage
