Key Responsibilities
As a project accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- journal and bank vouchers accurately
- Maintaining fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Preparing and submitting Withholding Tax (WHT) reports to tax consultants
- Coordinating monthly and annual financial reports with the branch office
- Handling monthly financial book closures
- Supporting both internal and external audit processes
- Processing vendor bills in line with contracts and purchase orders
- Reconciling vendor accounts and preparing monthly ageing reports
- Managing retention money settlements post-project completion
- Issuing and managing E-Invoices
- Overseeing debtor accounts and reconciliations
- Processing credit notes and claims from clients
- Preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports as needed
- Handling petty cash reimbursements and claims
- Preparing daily fund reports and managing bank coordination
- Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Executing online payments for local and international vendors
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be available to join immediately
- Must hold a valid NOC for job transfer within Qatar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Prior experience working with Korean companies is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA is mandatory
- Strong skills in MS Office, report writing, and data management
