About the Role
This role is designed for an experienced accountant who can independently handle the financial operations of a manufacturing or production unit. You will be responsible for site-level accounting, cost management, budgeting support, reconciliation, and financial reporting—all of which are essential for smooth daily operations.
Because this is a manufacturing environment, your experience in asphalt production, construction materials, or industrial manufacturing will be highly valuable. You will work closely with the operations team, management, suppliers, and the finance department at the main office.
This job is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, prefers hands-on accounting, and can manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Accountant, you will manage a wide range of financial and operational activities, including:
Production & Manufacturing Accounting

Track daily production output and maintain accurate production accounting records.

Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, and inventory levels.

Prepare cost sheets, analyze production variances, and support pricing decisions.

Manage job costing and ensure accurate cost allocation across departments.
Site-Level Accounting Operations

Handle daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, petty cash, and procurement records.

Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for payments and reconciliations.

Maintain general ledger entries and ensure consistent accounting accuracy.

Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
Cost Accounting & Analysis

Perform detailed cost analysis for asphalt production and manufacturing processes.

Evaluate cost changes and recommend improvements to reduce operational expenses.

Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Reporting & Compliance

Prepare timely MIS reports, production reports, and cost breakdowns.

Manage reconciliation of accounts, including inventory, vendor accounts, and bank statements.

Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Coordination & Leadership

Work closely with operation managers and supervisors to ensure accurate data flow.

Communicate with the main office finance team weekly.

Support continuous improvement in accounting systems and production processes.
What We’re Looking For
You are an ideal candidate if you have:

✔ Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production accounting

✔ Strong prior experience in asphalt, construction materials, aggregates, or similar industries

✔ Solid knowledge of cost accounting & production costing

✔ Experience managing site-level finance operations

✔ Ability to work full-time in Fujairah and visit main office weekly
