Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Qatar
We need a senior accountant for our finance team in Qatar. You must have real, strong experience using SAP Business One. A solid background in accounting rules is key. You will manage our daily money matters precisely and well.
Key Work Duties
Handle all daily accounting work. Finish the month-end closing process on time. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Run the general ledger and bank checks. Handle accruals and necessary provisions. Write all financial reports and statements. Watch cost splits and money set aside for future costs. Track transactions tied to company inventory. Make sure we follow all local tax rules. Stay current with government requirements. Help during company audits. Work with outside auditors as needed. Find ways to make our processes better. Keep all entries accurate within SAP B1.
Our Requirements
You need a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Candidates must have four to six years of accounting work history. You must know SAP Business One; this is required. You should know common accounting rules very well. Understand standard month-end steps. Good communication skills are needed. You must be good at problem solving and analysis. You must live in Qatar now. A valid residency visa is required. We prefer applicants who can start right away.
