We are committed to maintaining precise and efficient financial operations. As an Accountant, you will be the cornerstone of our financial reporting process, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with all relevant regulations, including Qatar financial standards.
This position is based in Qatar, and we strongly prefer candidates who are able to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting. Your main duties will include:
* Financial Record Management: Prepare, maintain, and manage all comprehensive financial records and documentation.
* Accounts Management: Efficiently handle accounts payable and actively manage accounts receivable to ensure timely cash flow.
* Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
* Payroll & Reconciliation: Manage payroll processing, handle invoicing, and execute complex bank and ledger reconciliation processes.
* Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all company financial policies and current Qatar financial and regulatory requirements.
* Administrative Support: Provide essential support to overall audits and organizational budgeting procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this vital role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is mandatory.
* Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven, relevant experience is required. Previous experience working in Qatar or the GCC region is highly preferred.
* Software Proficiency: Good working knowledge and practical experience with modern accounting software, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems, is essential.
* Core Competencies: Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Work Ethic: The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently meet strict financial deadlines.
* Location: Must be able to relocate or currently reside in Qatar.
